THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHWEST CALIFORNIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

A SIGNIFICANT PATTERN CHANGE TO COOLER AND WETTER WEATHER WILL

START THIS EVENING AS A COLD FRONT BEGINS TO INFLUENCE THE COAST.

MODERATE RAINFALL WILL BEGIN NEAR THE OREGON BORDER THIS EVENING

AND SPREAD SOUTH ALONG THE REDWOOD COAST AND NORTH COAST INTERIOR

WITH A HALF INCH TO AN INCH OF RAINFALL EXPECTED THROUGH EARLY

THURSDAY MORNING IN HUMBOLDT AND DEL NORTE COUNTIES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

SNOW LEVELS WILL FALL TO AROUND 3000 FT THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY

AS A DEEP UPPER LOW MOVES OVER THE REGION. SNOW ACCUMULATION ABOVE

3500 FEET IN NORTHERN HUMBOLDT AND DEL NORTE COUNTIES MAY REACH

ADVISORY LEVELS THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY WITH 4 TO 8 INCHES

POSSIBLE.

SNOW LEVELS WILL FALL FURTHER FRIDAY AFTERNOON INTO SATURDAY TO BETWEEN 1500 AND 2000 FT WITH A CHANCE OF SNOW FALLING DOWN TO INTERIOR VALLEY FLOORS.
