UPDATE 6:55 P.M.:  Sheriff Dean Wilson of Del Norte County warned locals,

You will be seeing a lot of Cal Fire trucks in the area for awhile. We have a number of fires being set in the Blue Creek area. It is clearly arson and there are many flash points. Currently all total it is about 100 acres burning. There was shots being heard fired back and forth across the river last evening and then the fires were seen. We suspect Marijuana grower activity may be related as it is common in that area.

Cal Fire is saying the Arrow Complex as they call it is 90 acres and 37% contained.

A series of multiple fires at Blue Creek southeast of Klamath burn out of control.  The fires started in the wee hours of the morning.  Fortunately, they have a relatively slow rate of spread and only 60 acres are burning.  A helicopter, dozers and 250 fire personnel fight to contain the blaze.
