Several callers into KHUM have reported a wildfire in the greenbelt east of McKinleyville, somewhere between the town and Fieldbrook. Scanner traffic confirms that aircraft are being sent to battle the blaze.

A Calfire employee out of the Trinidad office confirms that they have units in the area, but declined to speak further about the incident.
