Missing person, Wayne Fanselow

UPDATE 2/14: In a lovely Valentine present for his family, Mr. Wayne Fanselow, says the Mendocino Sheriff’s Dept,  was found in Sonoma Co.

Mendocino County Sheriff Press Release:

On February 10, 2013, the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by relatives of Wayne Fanselow, a resident of Little River, reporting him missing.

On February 12, 2013, he was contacted by the Healdsburg Police Department at approximately 5:30 am at Circle K. He stated that he gets confused when he drives in the dark and didn’t intend to end up in Healdsburg, but had become disoriented during the night. He had previously gone to Calistoga where he made an attempt to contact family. However, when his brother arrived in Calistoga,Wayne had already left.

Employees of the Healdsburg Circle K reported seeing Wayne at about 0700 when he told them he was heading to Willits, but has not made contact with any family members yet.



Wayne’s son stated that his father was in the beginning stages of dementia.

He was last seen leaving for a drive in a 2003 dark blue 4-door Buick Le Sabre, License Plate # 6WOD612.
