LoCO received a few tips from readers last night alerting us that a rockslide had injured road workers in Salyer near the Humboldt-Trinity county line. This morning, the Trinity Journal notes that two people were airlifted from the site known as “Enchilada Curve.”

A call to CalTrans District 2 offices directed us to the Redding-based Steelhead Constructors who had been contracted to do the work. LoCO has a call in and will update this post when we know more.
