Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office press release: 

Over the past few months, Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Trinidad Deputy Pam Wilcox, has received numerous complaints of thefts, drug trafficking and burglaries in the greater Trinidad area. On 04/04/2015, Deputy Wilcox with the assistance of additional law enforcement personnel conducted a maximum enforcement effort in the Trinidad Area.

During the operation four people were contacted and subsequently arrested.

  • Kelly Byrns (Age 46) was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for Resisting, Delaying and Obstructing a Peace Officer and Felony Warrants.
  • David Todd Cooper (Age 45) was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for Resisting, Delaying and Obstructing a Peace Officer, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Felony Warrants.
  • Angelique Omstead (Age 24) was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for Possession of Stolen Property, Unlawful Use of a Debit Card and Probation Violation.
  • Tesse Hershberger (Age 22) was cited and released for Unlawful Possession of Prescription Medication and various Vehicle Code Violations.
