Patricia Louise O’Neill
June 11, 1930 – February 13, 2020

Patricia Louise O’Neill passed peacefully into Glory surrounded by her loving family.

Pat was born in Oregon and moved to northern California with her family at the age of 14. She met her husband to be, James H. O’Neill, while they were in high school and together they shared 72 wonderful years of marriage. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother, and had a wide circle of friends who she loved and treated like family.

Pat is survived by Gregory O’Neill, Cheryl Goswick and husband Dan, Kathy Kirk and husband John, grandchildren Jamie Landucci, Julie Wiegand, Kylene Rush, Justin Kirk, Karalee Cowart, and by fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Jeffrey O’Neill.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 25, at 4 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church of the Redeemer, 1431 Ross Hill Rd., Fortuna.

James Hugh O’Neill
March 25, 1927 – February 18, 2020

James Hugh O’Neill slipped peacefully into Heaven surrounded by his loving family.

Jim was born in California and spent all but his first three years in Humboldt County. He met the love of his life, Patricia Sauers, while they were in high school. They recently celebrated 72 years of marriage, marrying after he finished serving his country in WWII.

Jim had a 35-year career with PG&E, and during that time he met many wonderful friends, who have remained an important part of his life. Nothing was more important to Jim and Pat than their family, church family, and friends.

Jim is survived by Gregory O’Neill, Cheryl Goswick and husband Dan, Kathy Kirk and husband John, grandchildren Jamie Landucci, Julie Wiegand, Kylene Rush, Justin Kirk, Karalee Cowart, and by fourteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Jeffrey O’Neill.
