Former teammates and President Barack Obama praise Rampone’s leadership.

Three-time olympic gold medalist and two-time FIFA Women’s World Cup champion Christie Pearce Rampone will host a youth’s soccer clinic at Humboldt State in April as part of the university’s 35th Annual Celebrity Dinner & Sports Auction.

For $50 a ticket, soccer players between the ages of 5 and 16 will be able to attend the event, take pictures with Pearce Rampone, get her autograph and maybe ask her a few questions at a post-clinic Q-and-A.

The former captain of the U.S. women’s national team will host the clinic on April 4, at HSU’s College Creek Soccer Field at 11 a.m.

Christie Rampone will also serve as the keynote speaker for HSU’s 35th Annual Celebrity Dinner & Sports Auction, which will be held at Blue Lake Casino on the same day.

Funds raised from these events will be used to support HSU student-athlete scholarships.
