Patricia G. Peters
Dec. 25, 1930 - March 25, 2020

Patricia Gail Peters passed peacefully on March 24th after a battle with Alzheimer’s.

Born a Christmas baby to Lawrence and Helen Englis on December 25, 1930 in Eureka, she was a only child. They told her when she was young she was found under a cabbage leaf in the garden. A very special garden that must have been.

Our mother and father, Robert Peters, were married March 4, 1950 and remained completely committed to one another until our father’s passing in 2015. Besides being the best of partner to our father and greatest mother that two kids could ever hope for, she was also a great secretary to various business through the years. She may be best known for her role as the principal’s secretary at Grant Elementary School. She wore many hats in that role — nurse, discipliner, communicator, organizer, confidante and mentor.

She is survived by her daughter Connie Temple/Peters and her son Allan Peters. She also leaves behind her grandson Lee Temple, grandchildren and cousins. No services are planned but please consider a donation to The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America or other foundations to help cure Alzheimer’s. Also we would like to thank all the staff past and present and the owners of Frye’s Care home for their incredible commitment to the tenants at their care home. We are lucky to have them here in Humboldt County. Hospice is also incredible in their commitment to care across the spectrum and thanks to their staff for all they do.

Most of all, to friends that knew her — please think of our kind mother, and if that puts a smile on your face then she has once again given a gift to you.
