Wednesday: Beer + Good Music and/or Bad Movie and/or Good Causes

Your Humboldt Wednesday should likely include some beer element to it. Let’s look at all the beer:

  • Provider of high end suds The Siren’s Song Tavern also offers some musical tastiness tonight in the form of Portland singer/songwriter Catherine Feeny as well as local favs Lemon Lemon Cherry. Sample Feeny and musical partner Chris Johnedis’s arrangement adventurousness in the clip above.
  • To warm up, there’s a pair of Pints for Nonprofits events benefitting fine local causes — drink up for Humboldt Pride at Mad River Brewery and/or The Breast and GYN Health Project at Redwood Curtain Brewery
  • This week’s Sci-Fi Pint and Pizza Night at the Arcata Theatre Lounge features the 1959 classic film Beast from Haunted Cave. It’s really not important to know anything about it past the title, but watch the trailer below if you must. Oh! And there will be beer there, too.
