Saturday Lowdown: Cassandra Wilson Cancels Tonight’s Van Duzer Performance

This just in from CenterArts’ Michael Moore: Jazz vocalist Cassandra Wilson, who was scheduled to take the stage at HSU’s Van Duzer Theatre Saturday night, has been forced to back out due to illness.

“Unfortunately Cassandra became very ill last night and has been forced to cancel her performance,” Moore said in an email to LoCO. As with past cancelations, CenterArts will be rescheduling the show for an at-this-point-unknown later date while also offering ticket holders the choice to keep their tickets or to receive a refund.

Other Saturday night fun in your Lowdown below.
