Arcata’s Friday Night No Pants Dance

Good news! Depending on your plans for the evening — and your chosen profession or lack thereof —  this Humboldt Friday may not even require you to put on pants! You hacked life again!

Jambalaya plays host to the soulful, funky and styleless  Soulsapiens/Scuber Mountain Pajama Party this Friday night, catering to the ever-growing comfort-first ass shaking community. To experience this display of tight musicianship, it would behoove you to at least throw on your best bedtime plaids, ‘cuz “if you wear normal pants, they’re gonna charge you more.”

Stricter dress codes will be enforced (actually, probably not) over at the Arcata Theatre Lounge where Savage Henry Magazine has graciously facilitated us a date on The Divided Comedy Tour featuring the usual mix of up-and-coming out-of-towners and here-and-staying locals. Headlining the night will be Ty Barnett, who just last year released his first live special. Absorb a sampling below.

… or there’s lots more in your Lowdown listings below. And don’t forget you can always peer into Humboldt’s fun future

—Andrew Goff
