56th Annual Garberville Rodeo
The 56th Annual Garberville Rodeo, “Rodeo In the Redwoods” will be held on Father’s Day weekend, June 14, 15, and 16th 2013.
The Garberville Rodeo Association is looking for Rodeo Queen and Princess Contestants. Please contact Leslie Goff at (707) 923-9087 for more information. Princess ages 8 to 12; Queen ages 13 & up.
Our “Rodeo in the Redwoods” starts Friday night with a Bull-O-Rama at the Greycliff Rodeo Grounds, just South of Garberville in Benbow, CA. Follow the signs to a great man vs. bull competition. The fun continues Saturday morning in Garberville with a pancake breakfast and Rodeo Parade. At the parade you will get to watch as the Rodeo Queen and Princess get crowned. After the parade take your family and head back down to the Greycliff Rodeo Grounds for the kid’s games and Junior Rodeo. At 4:30pm treat your taste buds to a BBQ steak dinner. After you get your fill, sit back and watch the CCPRA Rodeo until the last bull has been ridden or the last rider has been bucked off. Come back Sunday for the Gymkhana, sponsored by the Mounted Mountaineer’s. Fun for the whole family is found at the “Rodeo in the Redwoods” in Garberville, CA. 1:30pm- Junior Rodeo- Greycliff Rodeo Grounds
After the rough stock portion of the Junior Rodeo the Kids Games will start.
There will be a Pony Carousel and Petting Zoo. The Animal Scramble and Grease Pig Competition to follow Junior Rodeo- Animal Scramble and Greased Pig Competition Sponsored by Bushnell Ranch
