Creamery District Art Market
The Creamery District Art Market will be held on Saturday, September 27, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Creamery Building at 1251 Ninth St. in Arcata. This is a free, outdoor, family-friendly event. More than a dozen vendors will be selling an array of art and crafts, the band Jenni and David and the Sweet Soul Band will play from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the Arcata Playhouse will provide coffee, drinks and snacks. The September Art Market will feature three different art pieces: an art-based, pop-up Miniature Golf Course sponsored by SCRAP Humboldt and the Arcata Playhouse, a special performance of the family friendly physical comedy “In’Tents – A Conservation Comedy” at 11:30 a.m. and an unveiling of the completed 15-foot tall Pink, Polka-dot, Peg-legged Pony sculpture at the Art Market.
