Gil Cline and Trumpet Consort von Humboldt

Check this: Humboldt’s own “Trumpet Consort von Humboldt” performing music ranging from the time of Sir Francis Drake and Elizabethan England, to Italy, to baroque Germany/Prussia, to 19th-century France, then a few surprises for “dessert!” Led by HSU music professor Gil Cline, and dressed in costume, TCvH uses “real deal” natural (no valve) 1667 trumpet copies, adding baroque-style rope tension drum. Presented by the Fortuna Concert Series. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. Tickets for individual concerts are available at the door.
