Great Zoo Eggstravaganza

Sequoia Park Zoo

Join the Easter bunny and a whole host of animals to celebrate spring at Sequoia Park Zoo during the 16th annual Great Zoo Eggstravaganza on Sunday, April 19 from 12-4 p.m.

Watch the animals hunt for their own “eggs” as they dig into special treats before you set off on your own Egg Hunt and Eggspedition – children can join in the hunt at any time between noon and 4 p.m. There will be up close animal encounters and we’ll have a team of volunteers on hand to guide children (and adults) through an egg-citing array of activities, including:

·         Egg Hunt and Egg Decorating

·         Photos with the Easter Bunny (mascot)

·         Bunny ‘petting’ in the Barnyard

·         Honey Bee Toss

·         Bunny Hop

·         Insect Hide & Seek

·         Wildflower Crafts

·         Butterfly Clothespin Crafts

With all the activities going on, be sure you don’t miss the animals as they hunt for their own “eggs” at the following times:

·         12:30 Gibbons

·         1:00   Bush dogs

·         1:15  Spider monkeys

·         1:30   Barnyard

·         2:00   Chacoan Peccaries

·         2:30   Red Pandas

·         3:00   Cavies & Screamers
