Humboldt Folklife Pints for Nonprofits

Mad River Brewery Tasting Room

$1 of every delicious Mad River Brewery pint will be donated to the Humboldt Folklife Society. Please join us in kicking off the month of the folklife festival with Bramble and the Rose!

Bramble and the Rose vocalists Cat Koshkin and Tim Harkins love the lesser-known songs and ballads that offer a chance for harmony singing. Backed by multi-instrumentalist Patrick Cleary, they offer a wide range of ballads, folk, country, bluegrass and surprises.

This night will also be our Volunteer Orientation night:

The 37th Annual Humboldt Folklife Festival Needs Your Help!

Folklife Fest Volunteer Orientation
Wednesday, July 1st 2015
Mad River Brewery, Blue Lake
“Pints for Non-Profits” Night

Love acoustic music? Want to pitch in with like-minded folks to help our annual Folklife Festival—a volunteer-powered event—run smoothly? If so, please volunteer! The Humboldt Folklife Society’s Folklife Festival runs eight days this year, beginning with a kick off Saturday, July 11th at Mad River Brewery, and finishes with a bang at the fun-filled all-day Fest on Saturday, July 18th.

We can use your help at Annie and Mary Day in Blue Lake, on the 12th; the Barn Dance in Arcata, on the 17th; at the great evening concerts throughout the week in Blue Lake; and the all-day fest on the 18th, also in Blue Lake at Dell’Arte. Volunteers can also help distribute posters beginning very soon and handbills in early July. (See below for details)

Learn more about these volunteer opportunities while you enjoy pizza, beverages and live music at the Mad River Brewery in beautiful Blue Lake
