30th Annual I Block Party

Los Bagels, Arcata

The 30th annual I Block Party, with live music and free admission, is in front of Los Bagels in Arcata, from 12-6 pm. Live music all day from Lyndsey Battle Trio, Mad River Rose, SambAmore, and The Hip Joint. Enjoy local microbrews, and delicious barbequed chicken, albacore or tofu (with cole slaw, black beans, and tortilla chips). Cold drinks and locally made desserts, and a raffle and silent auction. Bring the kids for free face-painting! The I Block Party is the annual fundraiser for the Arcata-Camoapa Sister City Project, which is celebrating 30 years of international friendship and solidarity. All proceeds benefit Camoapa, Nicaragua.
