KY BURT AND MELANIE JEAN PERFORM NEW AMERICANA WITH A WORTHWHILE CAUSE Ky Burt & Melanie Jean, an Americana duo forged in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, present an evening of invigorating original music on 5/29 at The Sanctuary from 8-10pm . Tickets are sliding scale ($5-$20). Ky Burt is an Americana singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based out of western Colorado. He is traveling as a duo with Melanie Jean (Paonia, CO) up and down the west coast this coming summer 2015. He has toured extensively throughout Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico to great responses and been featured in several papers and on a handful of radio stations along the way. Most notably Ky was recently selected as the 2014 Break-Out Artist of the Year for Music in the Arizona Daily Sun. In addition to a full show tour schedule, Ky and Melanie Jean will be working with organizations like Woman’s Shelters, K-12 schools, Boys and Girls Club, and Sustainability Groups to raise money for charity and create community engagement through ‘Project In Pursuit’.
