After more than fifty years of innovative musicmaking, The Chieftains remain one of Ireland’s most renowned and revered bands. Recognized for bringing traditional Irish music to the world’s stage, the six-time Grammy-winners are led by Paddy Moloney, who formed the group from the ranks of the top Irish musicians in 1962. The band continues to perform with grace, humor, exceptional musicianship, and the pageantry of guest dancers and pipers.
