ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Employee Hiring, Firing, Training, scheduling, assigning duties and guiding them when they seek help.
Keep safe environment for employees.
• Scheduling all employees shifts, arrange another cashier if one calls in or fill in for that shift.
• Customers Service, customers safety
• Business rating on Google, Yelp and other similar plat forms
• Ordering and Maintaining Inventory
• Weekly checking Profit Margins
• Weekly checking and updating Inventory Prices as needed.
• Reducing inventory shrinkage and controlling inventory theft.
• Writing, editing and/or collecting and filing necessary Documents from employees, vendors, and
other documents as needed/ assigned.
• Make sure all business Licenses, Permits and Food Safety Certificates are valid and renew as needed.
• Follow Chevron guidelines – attached or provided in separate document
Ensure POS, Credit Card, Lottery, EBT machines are working. As well as all other equipment and fuel
dispensers are fully operational. Maintain all equipment in clean and good working condition.

Education/Experience
• High School Graduate; some College a plus
• Minimum One Year experience managing a retail business
• Minimum five years’ general work experience
• Experience within the gasoline/ retail store industries a plus
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving vehicles;
outdoor weather conditions; Risk of Propane burn and electrical shock. The noise level in the work
environment is usually moderate but sometimes very loud.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to

Standing, walking, and handling items are required at least 5.5 hrs./ day and during the entire shift up to 8+
hours/ day. Reaching outward is required up to 5.5 hrs./ day. Reaching above the shoulder, squatting, or
kneeling, and bending are required about 2.5 hours/ day.
Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus is required.
