Busy, fun and exciting legislative office, looking for a full-time District Representative based in Humboldt County.

Candidates must possess excellent writing, communication and research skills, as well as organizational and project management abilities. Must have strong attention to detail, and be comfortable with public speaking/presentations.

Responsibilities include assisting your neighbors through bureaucratic red tape, attending community meetings, letter writing and acting as an advocate for residents with state agencies, particularly unemployment claims during the pandemic. Evening and weekend work is required, as is travel to surrounding counties. You must love working with people, have a desire to serve and deliver for the public and enjoy being active and involved in the community.
