KEET-TV, the sole service PBS station in Eureka, California is seeking a Web/Social Media Manager. This new full-time position, which reports to the Director of Operations & Engineering, is responsible for using KEET’s web and social media presence to promote its programming and events and engage with its community.

Qualifications required for this position include but are not limited to a strong understanding of social media platforms; basic understanding of how to use desktop and mobile computer systems; strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written; ability to take in new concepts and adjust to different workflows, adapt to new software and hardware.

Some knowledge of photo and video editing software; photography, lighting, and audio recording; and shooting video on smartphones and video cameras is preferred. A valid California driver’s license and evidence of insurance is required. Applicants must be able to operate a van or truck and must be able to lift 50 pounds.

The starting pay rate for this position is $16.00 per hour. KEET offers a competitive benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance and 401(k) plan. There are 12 paid holidays as well as 10 days of annual leave.
