Our client is seeking an accountant with the desire to work in a team environment at one of Humboldt County’s leading accounting firms. Requirements
- BA/BS in accounting, business, or related field.
- Public accounting and tax preparation experience.
- Strong computer and IT background desirable.
- Ability to carry yourself in a meeting, with personality and character that attracts client attention and respect.
- CPA preferred, but open to helping the right candidate prepare and complete the exam.
Job Duties
- Maintaining and auditing financial records.
- Income tax preparation and planning.
- Represent clients with IRS, State, or other audits.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through ongoing communication and exceptional service.

- This a full-time position.
Compensation
- Compensation includes base pay dependent on qualifications and experience.
