Our client is seeking an accountant with the desire to work in a team environment at one of Humboldt County’s leading accounting firms. Requirements

• BA/BS in accounting, business, or related field.
• Public accounting and tax preparation experience.
• Strong computer and IT background desirable.
• Ability to carry yourself in a meeting, with personality and character that attracts client attention and respect.
• CPA preferred, but open to helping the right candidate prepare and complete the exam.

Job Duties

• Maintaining and auditing financial records.
• Income tax preparation and planning.
• Represent clients with IRS, State, or other audits.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through ongoing communication and exceptional service.

Schedule

• This a full-time position.

Compensation

• Compensation includes base pay dependent on qualifications and experience.
