Join the City of Eureka Finance Department Team! This incumbent organizes and oversees day to-day accounting activities and is responsible for providing professional-level support to the Finance Director in a variety of areas.

Successful performance of the work requires an extensive professional background as well as skill in coordinating and performing public agency accounting and budgetary work. Responsibilities include oversight of the general ledger and fixed assets, in addition to reconciliation and financial report preparation activities.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field; and four (4) to six (6) years of related experience in financial and business office operations, with at least two (2) years of supervisory experience.
