The Lost Boys 30th Anniversary Screening
THE LOST BOYS 30th Anniversary Screening ONE NIGHT ONLY, 10/25! It’s got The Coreys (Feldman & Haim), the Sexy Sax Guy, a goth Kiefer Sutherland, a fictional version of Santa Cruz (Santa Carla, “the murder capital of the world”), great outfits, a memorable soundtrack we played over and over again on cassette during our childhoods, and it’s 30 YEARS OLD this year! So we HAD to show it on the big screen. The 1980s were chock full of vampire films, but few of those films have stood the test of time quite like The Lost Boys. The dark teen-vamp film became a cult classic and consistently ranks high among the greatest vampire films of all time. Some Lost Boys trivia you may not have known: it was the FIRST appearance of the two Coreys together, Corey Feldman was instructed to rent all the Sylvester Stallone and Chuck Norris action movies in preparation for his role as a Frog Brother, Ben Stiller was almost cast as one of the lost boys (can you imagine?), and it inspired Joss Whedon’s equally iconic Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
