Capturing images of joy and playfulness is Kim Sallaway’s hallmark but this local photographer is known as well for his images of famous entertainers and, most recently for his depictions evoking peace.  Several months ago the above photo showed up on the Oprah blog and now tonight Persimmons is featuring the opening of an exhibit by Sallaway entitled, Peaceful Gatherings. The show will continue into August.
