The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office continues to search for High Risk Missing Person Katherine Gillham. A detective has been assigned to the investigation and has learned Gillham was in the Elk Valley Casino, Crescent City on 06-11-2012, from 2:30 to 2:56 a.m. per the Casino Staff who located a video of her after a missing person flier was dropped off by her family members. Family members also viewed the video footage of Gillham and confirmed it was her. The California Highway Patrol has flown the route Gillham most likely took in California two different times and did not locate her or her vehicle.
Humboldt County Search and Rescue deputies drove to the county line over the last two days and checked on and off the roadway for her, and her vehicle with no success. Del Norte County Search and Rescue is doing the same. Anyone with information is requested to call the Humboldt County Sheriffs Office at 707-445-7251.

On 06-14-2012, approximately 10:00 p.m. the Humboldt County Sheriffs Office was notified of a possible missing person-overdue motorist, Katherine Gillham. The missing person left Grants Pass, Oregon on 06-11-2012, approximately 2:00 a.m. and failed to make it home. Family members assumed she had made it home to Big Lagoon, however due to a communication breakdown, did not realize she was missing until 06-14-2012, when they reported her missing. She was driving a Grey 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor SUV, California 6UXE841. She is believed to have traveled State Route 199 from Grants Pass, Oregon to U.S. 101 to Big Lagoon, Humboldt County.
Katherine Gillham 40 years old, Native American Female, 5-4, 200 lbs, Brown hair, Brown eyes.
