LoCO reader Jon Baer sent in the above photo of a car on fire in the parking lot of the Motel 6 in Eureka. He files the following report:
“Car started smoking in the parking lot. I used the extinguisher from my vehicle but it didn’t do much the car soon became engulfed in flames.”
Nice try, Jon. Luckily, the pros of Humboldt Bay Fire Department showed up and extinguished the blaze. See video below.
