In what has to be the finest ode to a specific Humboldt County locale since Dieselhead’s “Life Beyond Eureka,” your Lost Coast Outpost asks that you feast your ears on “McKinleyville.” Local singer/song writer/Mack town resident Joel Sonenshein debuted his paean to his chosen home at this year’s Folklife Festival. We present it here because KHUM played it today and reminded us of its endearing qualities.
