A small fire broke out at a single-story apartment building on the 6200 block of Humboldt Hill Road this morning, but was quickly knocked down.
Witnesses at the scene say the fire started in the garage pictured above. The fire did not spread to the residences. Three engines from Humboldt Bay Fire responded, and no injuries were reported.
