Fire personnel are responding to a fire just north of the Tish Tang Campground. Allie Hostler of the Two Rivers Tribune is at the scene and sends in the photos in this post, noting the fire has jumped the river and at least one of the historical structures at the Tish Tang Village has completely burned.

This is but one of several blazes currently burning in the Hoopa area. “There have been a number of incidents over the past 24 hours,” Hoopa Wildland Fire’s receptionist told us. No official word on the cause of the fires yet.
