One of the detached buildings at Mad River Community Hospital caught fire last night. Arcata Fire went to the scene at about 4 a.m., and about half an hour ago reported that it has been contained.
Units are responding to a commercial structure fire at Mad River Community Hospital. E8216 reports a large column of smoke from the station.

The fire has been contained. No injuries were reported. All units are back in service.
