A woman was airlifted to Mercy Medical Center in Redding today, after nearly drowning downriver of Kimtu Beach.
According to scanner traffic, a “near-drowning” was reported around 3:30 p.m. and CPR was administered by first responders.
Lieutenant Wayne Hanson of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office tells the outpost that the woman shows positive vital signs.
