On Thursday, June 16, 2016 at about 12:30 p.m., a Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Community Service Officer (CSO), spoke with a reporting party (RP) who wished to file a missing person report on his friend and employee Dustin Morgan McCutcheon. The reporting party stated McCutcheon had been staying with him at his residence in McKinleyville. The RP told the CSO he had not heard from McCutcheon since Monday, June 13, 2016 at about 4:30 p.m. The RP stated it was unusual for McCutcheon to not return home or be in contact with him. McCutcheon called the RP from Sal’s Myrtlewood Lounge in Eureka on the 13th and hasn’t been heard from since. The reporting party told the CSO McCutcheon recently met a possible love interest.

McCutcheon is described as a 44 year old white male adult, 5’8”, 180 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. McCutcheon was driving an all-white 1995 Dodge 15 passenger van, California license plate 01271J1. The van has no markings, and has been cleared of passenger seats in the cargo area, has running boards and tinted windows.
