You have until 11:59 p.m. tonight to register or re-register to vote in the upcoming June 7 election. Do you want the world to feel your Bern? Do you want to see Uri “u-rise up” and do something something something? Now is your last chance to make sure you can do that.

It’s super-easy to register to vote in California. You can do it online, right here, at the California Secretary of State’s office.

Why do you need to re-register to vote? Perhaps you just turned 18. Perhaps you moved recently. Perhaps you find yourself registered with the wrong political party, for whatever reason. (Tip: This is probably the reason.) In California your political party registration only matters once every four years, and that once every four years is now.

Look: If you are a citizen of the United States who may legally vote, but are not registered to vote, then you are a bad person. Go to http://registertovote.ca.gov/ right now and rectify that.

But then you must vote on June 7. Otherwise you are still a bad person.

Register to vote. Vote. Do it.
