The Yurok Tribal Court is asking for donations to furnish a new sober-living home for tribal members transitioning back to sobriety.
“We have been blessed with an opportunity to provide a sober living environment for Yurok Tribal members who truly will benefit by having a clean and safe place to use as a transition into a clean and productive lifestyle,” the GoFundMe page reads. “Our mission to furnish the five-bedroom home must be accomplished by asking our community for the help we need to reach our goal.”
The GoFundMe page has raised $300 so far, but is still well short of its $5,000 goal.
