Glenn Jay Murray
March 22, 1952 – November 4, 2018

It is with great sadness we share the news that on November 4, 2018 our brother passed at St. Joseph Hospital.

Glenn was born on March 22, 1952 in Scotia to Leo and Delores Murray. After graduating from Fortuna High School he joined the Air Force where he served for six years in the Presidential Honor Guard. When leaving the service he went to work in the family business managing the stores for Wyckoff Plumbing.

Glenn enjoyed gardening with his partner of 40 years, Jim Sullivan. They had several garden club shows at their home in Eureka which were a great success. Their yard was featured several times in the news paper and the crown jewel for garden club show.

Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, Leo Murray and Delores Gates and grandparents Shirley and Irma Duncan. He is survived by his brother, Michael Murray; his two sisters, Donna Reback and Debbie Parker; and several nieces and nephews.

As per Glenn’s request there will be no services. Please feel free to donate to your favorite charity on his behalf.
