The Rio Dell Police Department is looking to reunite a domesticated tortoise with its owner after it was found cruisin’ Ogle Avenue this afternoon.

Officer Charlie Fielder told the Outpost that if the tortoise isn’t claimed soon, it will be sent to Miranda’s Rescue for adoption.

The tortoise can be claimed by calling the Rio Dell PD at (707) 764-5642.
