A look at Bell’s next opponent.

Humboldt mixed martial artist Cass Bell announced today that he will return to the ring for the first time since suffering his first pro loss in July.

Bell (5-1) will face the undefeated Jornel Lugo (5-0) at Bellator 256 on April 9 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

“I’m so excited to get back in to the cage,” Bell shared on social media.

Bell said he’s also looking for a few more sponsors before the fight, if any local companies want to support Arcata’s homegrown fighter.
