Humboldt Bay Fire has suspended search efforts for Scott Arbaugh, age 68, and Josh Arbaugh, age 49, a father and son who went missing while fishing on Humboldt Bay this past Tuesday evening. The US Coast Guard suspended its rescue operations Wednesday evening, but Humboldt Bay Fire’s Rescue Dive and Recovery Team continued search efforts through Friday evening.
Humboldt Bay Fire spokesperson Amy Conlin told the Outpost the dive team “exhausted their search and grid plans and found nothing.” The search is suspended until new information comes forward.
