Thousands of demonstrators gathered at events across the country today to defend the right to abortion access and protest recent attacks on reproductive rights. The demonstrations come as a direct response to the recently leaked draft opinion by the Supreme Court that indicated its intent to overturn Roe v. Wade, the landmark court decision that guarantees a person’s constitutional right to have an abortion.

A crowd of roughly 100 people gathered in front of the Humboldt County Courthouse this afternoon bearing signs that read “My Body, My Choice,” “Keep Abortion Legal” and “Protect Safe Abortion” among others.
