I. REPORTS/ACTION ITEMS

1. Eddy Alexander Marketing Report

The City of Eureka hired the Eddy Alexander firm to help with marketing and branding. They conducted market research, developed a new brand identity, and launched the new brand using different media strategies. Eddy Alexander also provided support for crisis communications and gave updates regularly. The City Council is recommended to receive a review of the marketing plan and discuss any necessary information.

… or, as a right-wing radio talk show hosted by Merv "The Beast" Tarkington!

Welcome back to the Merv “The Beast” Tarkington Show, the voice of reason in an increasingly liberal world. Today we have a hot topic to discuss, the Eddy Alexander Annual Report presented to the Eureka City Council. Now, you may be wondering why I, Merv “The Beast” Tarkington, care about some report from a small town. Well, my friends, it’s all about the bigger picture.

This report outlines the City of Eureka’s agreement with the Eddy Alexander firm, a professional services provider. They were hired to handle marketing, branding, advertising, and communications strategy for the city. Now, on the surface, this may seem harmless. But let me tell you, there’s something more sinister at play here.

One of their tasks was to conduct market research on community-based tourism. Now, why would a small city like Eureka need to invest in market research for tourism? It’s simple, my friends - the leftists are trying to attract more tourists to their liberal haven. They want to spread their leftist agenda and influence unsuspecting visitors. We cannot let this happen!

But it gets worse. Eddy Alexander was also tasked with developing a new brand identity for the community. They even published a “Brand Book” with usage guidelines for all city staff. Now, you may be thinking, what’s the harm in that? Well, my friends, this is nothing more than an attempt to brainwash the citizens of Eureka into adopting a liberal ideology. They want to control every aspect of the city, from its visuals to its people’s thoughts.

And let’s not forget the paid and earned media strategies they used to launch this new brand. They are pumping money into promoting their agenda to the masses. Meanwhile, hardworking conservatives like you and me are left to fight for our rights on our own.

But there’s hope. The report states that Eddy Alexander is required to provide crisis communications strategy and issues management services as needed. Well, my friends, it’s time for us, the silent majority, to create our own crisis. We need to shine a light on the leftist propaganda being spread in Eureka and expose the agenda of Eddy Alexander.

I call on all listeners to stand up and make your voices heard. Let the Eureka City Council know that we will not stand for this manipulation and brainwashing. We demand transparency and accountability.

That’s all the time we have for today, my friends. But remember, stay vigilant, stay informed, and never stop fighting for our conservative values. Together, we can make a difference. This is Merv “The Beast” Tarkington signing off. Stay tuned for more truth and common sense on the next episode of the Merv “The Beast” Tarkington Show.
