 Kamada Receives Key Endorsements

Adrian Kamada, candidate for Humboldt County District Attorney, is pleased to announce two key endorsements from community organizations.

The Humboldt County Democratic Central Committee (HCDCC) has thrown their support behind Adrian as your next District Attorney.  Mario Fernandez, Chair of the HCDCC, said:

“Adrian Kamada has the experience, plans, and energy needed in our District Attorney’s office.  Under his leadership the DA’s office will work as a team, modernize operations, and be transparent and responsible to the people of Humboldt County.  His experience as both a prosecutor and a public defender gives him a well-rounded view of the whole criminal justice system.  He has fresh ideas on preventing crime by diverting people away from the system when possible and prosecuting them when needed.”

The Redwood Coalition for Climate and Environmental Responsibility (RCCER) has also announced their support.  Tom Wheeler, Co-Director of RCCER, stated:

“Adrian Kamada is a choice voters can trust for District Attorney.  Adrian has experience as a Public Defender and Deputy District Attorney, giving him a broad perspective on our justice system.  As a Deputy District Attorney, Adrian stood out for his work prosecuting environmental crimes and was awarded the 2018 “Wildlife Prosecutor of the Year” by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.  Adrian will bring a fresh perspective to the District Attorney’s Office and we are impressed by his vision for the position.”

“It is an honor to receive these endorsements,” said Kamada.  “My campaign for this non-partisan office isn’t about appealing to any particular group, it’s about realistic, common-sense changes to the District Attorney’s office to help keep all the people of Humboldt County safe.  These endorsements and those to come display a broad-based coalition of support for my candidacy.”
