EPD gave the man a “courtesy transport” back to his K St home and cleared from the call.

Several officers checked the K St home and contacted someone there, “Code 4” (everything OK), now returning to the I St location.

2300 blk I St, EPD responding to report that a man came to a house there saying someone had shot his cousin and he believes they followed him here from K St.

Officer contacted by dispatch, he’s OK. [Comment: this is usually caused by either radio malfunction or accidentally hitting the “trigger”]

Eureka PD Officer’s radio Emergency Trigger (“Officer needs help”) has been activated. Officers and dispatch trying to locate him and determine if he’s OK.
