Humor releases “feel good” chemicals and, unlike some other well-known chemicals, It’s legal. Humor increases a general sense of well-being even, at times, euphoria. You can laugh (and boo) at the Pun Off, Arcata Theater Lounge, Friday, March 6. Doors open at 7:30. Punning begroans at 8 pm. Puntestants are invited to sign up just before the event at the stage inside the theatre. This competition’s wordplay has provoked laughter, growls and whimpers since 1977. The Pun Off benefits Making Headway Center for Brain Injury Recovery.
