AM Jazz Band
The AM Jazz Band plays “Green Dolphin Street,” made famous when Miles Davis recorded it and “Lester Leaps In” by Lester Young for the Count Basie Band. A hard bop tune by Cannonball Adderley, a modal tune by Freddie Hubbard, and “Killer Joe” written for the Jazztet are the other compositions on the program. Directed by Dan Aldag.
