Autumn Electric is a band from Seattle, with songs chalk full of grace and style. The group of 5 has released their sophomore full length album titled Flowers for Ambrosia (2014). It follows up the very impressive debut album, Make Me A Tree (2012), both of which are chalk full of smart collaboration, excellent producing, and wise usage of lyrics. Going as far as giving a genre to this band is challenging. It seems safe to go with rock and roll, but that isn’t quite enough.

Armed with an array of instruments, solid and varied tempos, and a booming dynamic in bass and percussion, Flowers for Ambrosia is a great example of an album that had much work put into it, making it nearly impossible to label it with a genre. Autumn Electric is certainly getting it right as far as producing music, playing shows, and networking. And, they knit their own hats!
