Bicycle Built for Two Billion Family Book Tour
The Bicycle Built for Two Billion Family Book Tour is coming to the Arcata & Eureka (CA) area as part of a 12,000-mile nationwide campaign. Jamie Bianchini will be giving free multimedia presentation about his epic intercultural, open-invitation cycling expedition around the world. He’ll share photos, videos, music and stories of inspiration and philanthropy from the amazing 8-year, 79-country trip––riding the front seat of a tandem bike and inviting strangers to join him in the back along the journey.
Jamie Bianchini, author of the newly released book A Bicycle Built for Two Billion, has teamed up with Humbrews in Arcata, CA to allow the local community to enjoy this captivating presentation for free.
- 7:00pm - 8:00pm: Happy Hour Meet and Greet. Come meet Jamie, his family and the Humbrew crew. Come before 7:45PM to be entered into a raffle for Ortlieb panniers, Rockymount Racks and more!
- 8:00pm - 9:00pm: A stunning multimedia presentation of A Bicycle Built for Two Billion you don’t want to miss!
- 9:00pm onwards: Book signing, cold drinks and having fun!
The core intention of the book and Family Book Tour is to inspire the “Courage to Connect” in people around the country. To counter the pervasive negative news about the state of our world, Jamie’s inspiring stories and positive events tackle the rampant fear and prejudice causing problems in our local and global communities. Jamie also donates a portion of all book sales to Good Hope School for AIDS Orphans in Uganda, a school founded by former guest rider of the tandem bike.
