David Bowie Cinema Night
The Miniplex at Richards’ Goat Tavern
We’re celebrating the life of David Bowie with a double feature of Nicolas Roeg’s sci-fi epic “THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH” (1976) and Tony Scott’s stylish vampire thriller “THE HUNGER” (1983). In “The Man Who Fell to Earth,” at 7:00 pm, Bowie plays an alien who gets derailed from his mission by sex and materialism on Earth. In “The Hunger,” at 9:00 pm, he is the un-aging 18th century lover of vampire Catherine Deneuve, but in the 1980s he suddenly begins to age and seeks help from science. Don’t miss this RARE opportunity to see these arthouse classics on the big screen! $6.50 for each film. Full cocktail menu available.
